MISSION STATEMENT
The St. Michael’s Troubadours, or the Troubs, are a student run drama society who strive to foster a representative, inclusive, anti-racist, and welcoming community that is committed to creating space for students to showcase and develop their artistic capabilities. Every season consists of plays, musicals, and other theatre pieces, all of which are produced and performed by students in the U of T theatre community.

Hellooooo! I am Qilin (he/him) and I am a first-year Master of Teaching student at OISE, returning to produce my third season of the Troubadours. I look forward to leveraging my experience and resources to bring forth another great season with this wonderful team!
Christina Shnaider (She/Her)

Hello everyone! I’m going into my 4th year studying Health and Disease, Immunology, and Physiology. This will be my 3rd year on the Troubs executive team, where I served as an Assistant Producer during my 1st year and Executive Producer during my 2nd year. I am so excited to help plan another amazing season and artistically support our incoming creative teams!

Mackenzie Cabral (she/her)
Assistant Executive Producer
Mackenzie Cabral is the Assistant Executive Producer for the SMC Troubadours. She has had a passion for theatre and the arts all her life, and is now honoured to be part of this wonderful creative team. When she is not immersed in putting on a production, she is either attending a show, or singing her heart out to a musical.

Heyyyy! I am Lakshita and I am going into my second year with the SMC Troubs, and my first year as an executive producer. Theatre is a huge part of who I am so I'm really glad to get to use my knowledge and experience to build something wonderfully unique this year. I cannot wait to work with all these wonderful new people to create an awesome season!

Hi everyone! I'm entering my third year pursuing a Computer Science Specialist and Philosophy Major, as well as my first year on the SMCT team. To me, theatre has always been a much needed (but just as hectic) breath of fresh air from academia. I'm thrilled to be able to facilitate the productions in this exciting upcoming season!

I’m thrilled to be serving as this year’s equity director! As I enter my fourth year, my passion for theatre continues to be the highlight of my University experience. It’s an honour to contribute to maintaining the diversity, inclusion, and creativity of our theatre community. I am so looking forward to this upcoming season and the amazing performances we will bring to the stage!

Hello hellooo, I am Arthur (He/Him), and I'm a second year student in math. This is my first year with the Troubadours, I'm very excited to learn and watch how the season unfolds.

Hello! I am a third year student, majoring in Drama and Environmental Studies. I have always been in love with theatre and I am finally stepping back into the theatrical world. Looking forward to an amazing season with SMCT!

Hi, I'm Kevin and I'm a Taiwanese Canadian in 2nd year studying mathematical applications in economics and finance with minors in computer science and statistics. This is my first year with the Troubadours so I'm excited to work with everyone and help make everybody's jobs easier as the executive secretary. Also, I look forward to seeing all the wonderful performances this year!

My name is Kayla and I'm SMC Troubadours' Assistant Artistic Director! I'm a first year student and I plan to double major in Economics and Psychology. I love theatre, thriller/action film and television, and almost all types of music!
